Controlled Mass Destruction/Restoration of a Country

Now, how many of you have watched the movie "Escape From LA". Movie did not have a record breaking performance but it tries to tell us that we have failed or can fail at administration level that can compel us to destroy the humans living in a city before we allow the city to have civilized population of its own.
Can we get to a level several decades or hundreds of year later when a country will have enemies of humanity? Even if it doesn't seem like a real scenario we humans have a habit of surprising us and hence preparation for tomorrow.

I am talking about a wall of gaseous substance around areas that does not allow other gases mixed in the air of vicinity to get outside its perimeter. The area inside a predefined area will have poison mixed in its air. We then introduce more gases inside the predefined area that eats all the poison within a specified period of time and allow the humans to live again.
But, what about the collateral damage? I mean the animals and bird. We then are forced to think of a gas or a virus or bacteria that affect humans and humans only as long as we have a way to clean the airspace.

Is it possible?
Let's find out.
We will try the sledge hammer approach first when we have to accept collateral damage as a reality of war. We will call it chemical warfare as they commonly say.
In this method we must ensure that both the gases do not react. Allowing one type of a gas in air in abundance is not a big deal. But putting it in the air to the height of the clouds or above the clouds is the challenge. Supplying them continuously till we get to clean the air inside a perimeter is another challenge. Covering an area of 1000 Square Kilometer will be a good beginning. The problem is the poison can go up in the clouds due to heat and can breach the defined perimeter and hence another reactant that removes the bad effect of the poison in the air has to be ensured. The temperature on the perimeters can be raised to heat the gases (the life savers) to the maximum height. Indeed we will have to push more and more gas on the perimeter to ensure that. Not a big deal considering the type of project. Isn't it?
It is important that we select the right kind of gas that does not mix with the water or with the food items including the plants or else XXXXXXX? A rain to wash out the effect of gas on leaves of the plants will be a must. Again, we can wait for a rain or try to influence the weather for a day. I am not proposing the name of life saver gas/mixture or life taking gas/mixture as yet. But I will at some point of time.

Now we will talk about what they call biological warfare.
This is easier than the first one. Contaminating the water supply of a city will do it as long as the bacteria/virus can get its way to every home/office/business. Doing a controlled mass destruction of a country will be much difficult though coz you will have to contaminate every single source of water supply or go ariel i.e. through the air. There are viruses/bacteria that affect humans only, if I am not wrong. Again, I am not proposing names but I will a little later.

In both the situations controlling the water in such a way that it does not leave the predefined area and controlling the air space with a view to keep wind factor in mind is an absolute must.

Now there is always a danger of these types of weapons falling in wrong hands. But then we have been able to deal with nuclear weapons so far. Haven't we?

Moving away from conventional economic policies

This article reflect on an article in "Hindustan Times" of 6th of May by the title "US in pale recession" by Greenspan.

Mr. Greenspan argued that US is towards slow but sure inflation. In other words, after a year or so the econimc growth of 0-1% will probably stabilize. He refrained from talking about the monetary policies although he did mention that 7 interest rate cuts by the Fed Reserve is a measure to fight with the inflation.
I am sugessting some other approach to fixing the deep rooted problems in the US economy. We have been witnessing the unemployment issues( about 5+%) for a while now. We are also startled at the possible effect of the housing problem in USA. Indeed it has an impact on the financial institutions as their return on investment seems pretty bleak, given a fall in prices in 20 US states according to the article.
Mr. Greenspan predicts a write off to the financial institutions as inevitable in future. I however, have a different viewpoint on this issue. I would rather give the financial institutions an option to invest the money they are supposed to be getting in the manufacturing sector and in Research and Development to cut down the cost of production of goods and services in general. This way the US economy can go back to the basics of being more independent when it comes to fighting the global rise in wages of the workers. Yes, indeed we are all interdependent but there is nothing that stops us from improving our infrastructure to be less dependent on others. The financial institutions will have a consolation that they still own the money but at the cost of diversification. But government can give something else they can cheer about. May be they can borrow money from the fed at low rate 5-7 years from now.

Further, I also recommend training their skilled workforce to a level where they can be called "high skilled" labor. Guess what! In the process you have become more self relient as far as your strength of human resource is concerned. If there is a proper infrastructure setup that can only become better with the time, 30 million population is no joke. Same analogy can be applied to other type of workers.

For sloving the problem of low class worker US is still flexible with its imigration policy be it in the favour of Mexico or some other country.

Process improvement and more automation means there is a likely hood or lay off. But because of new manufacturing units coming into the picture, end of the day it may get even.

Rise in global food pricing primarily because of hike in oil prices and growing purchasing power of the growing economies, as predicted by some of the economists could also be fought. US already has their own refinary which has become more developed since their inception. Not chosing to use them is strictly a decision that ensures security in future. OPEC - I guess, the fight is on.

With a huge geographical boundary with adequate agricultural land and technology to assist, focus to promote agriculture is not as bad an idea. Negotiation with third world countries on subsidy to agriculture can be put to back burner for a year or two. But even that cannot solve the problem, more options need to be given to the agriculture sector. This doesn't seem like a sector where US should be so frightful.

End of the day it the net household savings and the purchasing power of individuals that will drive the prices of the households again. It's a economic cycle and the financial instituions should not be worried that much. After all, they also have insurances agains huge loans.

First thing first, economy has to be fixed. Some of the proposed measures can do lot of good to the economy.
There could be other measures that can be taken.
In next article.

Folks,
If you take this article kindly point your website to this url.
In my "International Business" class during my MBA in NorthWest Missouri University, I was asked to join the US economic planning team. My ideas are not strictly towards Monetary or Fiscal measures. I guess, I prefer what can work for the economy at a given point of time.

UNO Vs OHCHR – An irony of the 21st Century

We decided to form “League of Nations” for resolving disputes involving more than one country. System evolved. Today we have UNO. One of its branches to deal with Human Rights Violation is O.H.C.H.R. (Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights). There have been changes in the organizational structure (the veto concept and number of veto power holding nations etc when it comes to UNO. How many disputes have we resolved so far? There have been times when use of power (weapons, army etc) could not be avoided. What about OHCHR? The countries abiding by their law has an option to opt out, if they wish in some cases. What purpose does it solve? Not much.

If nations states are left to flex their muscles against an entity or group of entities which includes letting them violate human rights within their territorial jurisdiction, it defeats the very purpose of this organization as far as their battle against human rights is concerned. In other words, as a civilized society we have failed to trust one another and grow up in many ways. The quest for power is still on, which is hidden behind our excuse of national interest and territorial jurisdiction.

The worst possible solution is this. Consider this pyramid.

[] - UNO
()() - OHCHR, Amnesty International, Civil Rights Orgs
{}{}{} - Nation States
0 0 0 0 - Individuals

We live in the pyramid to protect the individual rights in its core. But we claim that our charter can only protect the interest of nation state.
Huge assumption: Nation states are fair to their own citizens.

What if their system doesn't work, just the way we have been anticipating it to work? Who are we protecting?
UNO and OHCHR are not very particular in protecting rights of an individual except in some situations. But there is a problem. They probably need the approval of the involved nation state before they can take some steps.
Is it practical?

Where do we go from here?
Here are some suggestions.

1. UNO should expand the charter of OHCHR to protect individual rights violation.
2. No veto for individual rights violations.
3. Proper infrastructure for individuals to escalate the issues.
4. Every case needs to have a closure. It should be recorded and published in UNO. Onus could on OHCHR or other Human Rights/Civil Rights organizations.
5.Politically biased complaints should be forwarded to appropriate forums. Facts to be published in UNO and reviewed.
6. This will reduce the concept of protecting physical national boundaries.
7. Use of power against a nation state, if found in violation.
8. To avoid ganging up against a nation, following steps must be taken.
a) Two months time for resolution of an issue.
b) Three months time before the court proceeding, debates or other action starts.
c) Complete transparency of documentation and evidences. No encapsulation of facts.
d) OHCHR to forward cases including individual rights violation cases to International Court of Justice (I.C.J.) with/without the approval of a nation state, if OHCHR finds merit in the case.
9. Every country should have a centralized complaint reporting system that connects the entire world. The complaint filed by a party automatically gets recorded in UNO/OHCHR etc. The world will know about every violation.
10. Protection of life of the victim in cases involving individual rights violation from the moment a case if filed.
11. Free access of filing system to individuals filing a complaint.
12. Three months discovery of facts. More time after review. Maximum 180 days.
13. A standardized systems that is quantifiable and measurable to resolve a complaint of an individual portrayed as a rebel by a nation state.
14. Court proceedings can go live to ensure transparency as long as there is no chaos.
15. Media to have rights to get relevant facts.

If we want to live in a world where we respect one another and don't intent to promote slavery, imperialism, etc., we must have a better understanding of the needs of 21st/22nd century. Lets make a world that is fairer.

Preparing below 15 year students For Secret Services

This article is dedicated to my resume in Employment Development Department, USA.

The courses designed for school going kids in most of the countries do not remain aligned to their future goals and career paths. It is more so when we talk about third world countries. Being an Indian by birth, I have seen many short comings in the education pattern and support infrastructure for education as provided in India. I am proposing a new concept. After being forced to leave USA and coming back to India for good I got in touch with many educationalists. Most of them have been following the same pattern of education offered in the country for last several decades.

A new subject "IQ Promotion" should be introduced at primary schooling level. The students should be groomed from the primary schooling level to become detectives if they prefer. Making this an optional subject may or many not be an option. But the point is not every kid is going to like this subject. So, at some point of time they have to decide whether or not they want to go in this direction. I am proposing it as an optional subject in Junior High(Secondary Schooling i.e. class 9-10). However, the IQ Promotion course has to go hand in hand with physical fitness courses. Mandatory martial arts training at school level is not a bad idea. Mandatory shooting practices are also useful. But there is a problem. Not all kids are alike. In their delinquency period, a gun in their hands may not be a better idea. However, making gun training optional for select students can also lead to discrimination. That means, if we make the gun training optional for select students the practice has to be consistent, quantifiable and measurable. Not to mention, that the practice should be well documented.

Training Topics:
01. IQ improvement exercises.
02. Advice for appropriate nutrition at home.
03. Exposure to reasonable electronic and spying gadgets.
04. World history in the context of espionage.
05. Details on prominent figures in the world espionage for inspiration.
06. Risks, and benefits of taking this career - constant reminder.
07. Half-yearly meeting with parents of select students.
08. Mechanism to get them hooked to adult secret services at young age - no involvement of parents.
09. Projects - Working with police/private investigator, govt secret services, independently, in team of same age or adult spies.
10. Passive involvement to begin with (remote recording, remote surveillance, training to work in team)
11. National and international trip to students (Make them mature at early age - no cultural shock at job).
12. A team of psychologist or HRs to ensure that an individualists do not feel suffocated in team environment. Opportunity for him to thrive.
13. Make up training(Changing the physical outlook)
14. Mandatory foreign and regional language/accent.
15. Basic telephone line tapping, tress-passing training
16. Exposure to background verification and monitoring (credit card, finger printing)
17. Ballistic training
18. Forensic science training
19. Proper training to ensure legal boundaries are not crossed. No action without written authorization of proper/appropriate authories(Local law enforcement, judiciary, Senior Officials). Any such violation must be reviewed and the candidate should be disciplined immediately, if proper charges are substantiated.
20. Working with govt or non-govt organisation to ensure a cordial environment.
21. Suppression of arrogance at a wrong place but training to have enough confidence to do the right thing even in extremely adversely situations which could mean overriding the authorities of his/her seniors who are not doing the right thing. A good understanding of the code of conduct/law will be necessary for such training.
22. Mandatory reading/writing/video of detective cases.
23. Mandatory first-aid training
24. Mandatory photography training(developing films/micro-films)
25. Mandatory compass training
26. Training to change the identity, if needed.
27. Mandatory sitting in recorded or live court hearings (at least one live session every year).
28. Vehicle/driving lessons for select students. Small private planes in Senior High(Higher Secondary).
29. Stress management Training. Constant positive re-enforcement. Kids can make many mistakes.
30. Training for situations behind the enemy lines.
31. Developing expertise in one professional skill such as life-guard at swimming pools, librarian, counsellor with effective communication skill etc.
32. Specialized training for fighting against drug rackets to follow after they get out of class 10 level education.
31. Exposure to sex education after class 10(limits defined by relevant cultures).
32. Concepts such as lust, greed, revenge, psychological issues and other human behavior influencing or resulting into a crime motive should be brought to the knowledge of the students.

This concept should be taken seriously. If I am proposing intelligence as a professional course for students the same concept can be used to devise other courses.

More on this topic later on.

Sexual abuse and its repurcussions

Psychology of those who have been sexually abused or have been sexually assaulted when they were child, teenagers or adult.

Trauma, Mental Agony

Possible side effects on physical, mental, emotional state.

Change in behavior due to deep rooted feelings in subconscious.

Effect on sexual relationship/life.

Effect on social behavior.

Effect on attitude

Social stigma

Laws to enforce relief
01. Providing rehab counselling for healing and dealing with social changes if applicable(optional at the discretion of the victim).
02. A must training program for law enforcement agencies as appropriate, so that they are better equipped to deal with the victims after they initiate a verbal/written complaint.
03. Trying to play with the memory of a victim that reminds him/her of his/her bad memories related to the trauma should constitute cruelty in the eyes of law.
04. Judiciary, law enforcement agencies and other government agencies are not exempt from the cruelty law even if they chose to commit these offenses directly or indirectly.
05. At least 7 year term for one instance of such cruelty. If death, permanent or long term health issue results as result of this cruelty a death sentence or life term can be awarded. Sentence can be compounded based on the magnitude of quantifiable and measurable harm which will be in addition to the 7 years of must imprisonment.
06.Stopping/interrupting/hindering during a self-healing program, psychiatric counselling should constitute cruelty in the context of sexual abuse.
07. A competent court where parties involved are physically present after being convinced that they are going to get a fair trial should be allowed to take the cognizance and proceed with the trial. Physical presence of the complainant or accused may not be required if video conferencing or telephonic hearing is acceptable to the court and the parties involved.
08. Any violation should result in disciplinary action against govt. officials. A fine worth Rs. 200000 or U.S. $50000 outside India. Judges are not exempted if they are abusing their power while presiding or when they are breaking the law when not in judicial/administrative capacity. Unintentional harm should be fairly reviewed keeping in mind the spirit of the law. Recording of the review will be must.
09. For every such violation a box outside every court should be made available in which complaint related to such cruelty can be dropped. The complaint must be read by a judge or an acting judge only.
10. A jury of 2-5 including at least one woman is mandatory for cases requiring jury.
11. A complainant can file a complaint either in person or can be represented by a lawyer.
13. A complaint made to a police officer or a government authority will be considered as a complaint that can be tried in a court of law.
14. Not responding to the complaint in writing will constitute abuse of power. If responding to the complaint in writing is not possible for some reason, the other form of response to the complaint should be acceptable to the complainant. In no situation recording of complaint and recording actions, processes and responses etc, can be waived for the appropriate complaint taking authorities.
15. 24 hours time to respond to the complaint.
16. Complaint taking authority/individual acting on behalf of the government directly or indirectly will have the same duties.
17. A person who is an ordinary citizen will be in a violation of the constitutional duties and will be subjected to the same sentence, if he fails to act on the information passed on to him, which he in his rational mind is expected to consider it as a complaint.

Living being, Extra terrestrial synergized------ In pursuit of truth

What if we can talk to our pets using a language they can understand?
What if we can talk to all the living organism of the world we know?
What if we can talk to our pets using a language they can understand?
What if we can talk to all the living organism of the world we know?
By living organism I mean living organism with some locomotion organs.
What if we run into an extra-terrestrial species sometimes down the line and we find ourselves caught napping due to language restraint?
How do we break that barrier of communication gap?

Simple, but not so simple.
Depends.
Here is a theory which may become reality at some point of time.
In order for us to be able to talk to a pet - say dog, we need at least a common language. A living organism (bird, fish, animal etc.) in general is supposed to transmit information from its brain to the rest of the organs, such as mouth, eyes etc. But this may not be required if we are able to intercept the electrical transmission over axons or before relevant dendrites.
But we will have to amplify the signals and read the pattern before we can make much sense out of it. Once we start analyzing the wave length, frequency and magnitude etc we can have good pattern recognition process going on. In other words the information can be transferred directly to the brain of another living organism.
How do we deal with the sudden variation of the electrical signals? What I am trying to say is that the electrical signals generated in the brain of a dog could be significantly different from that of a human. So, here is the deal.
We got to have a better way.
What do we do?
How bout having a memory transfer. In other words if we study the brain architecture of two animals we will be able to find the memory locations to play with. What it means is that you need to be able to transfer the information present in the memory of a human to a dog to be able to read it. Now, this may or may not be enough until we have a memory scanners developed by us. In other words the pattern of electrical signals generated during the transfer of information from the memory location to the brain has to be intercepted and decoded. Once we are done with that it is all left for a super computer or very powerful computer to do the decoding with the help of human brain.
What do we get out of this whole exercise?
We will be able to communicate with an animal in a manner we can understand.

But still better way would be to come up with a removable synthetic brain planted inside the animal or coming up with a brain mapping mechanism. We all know that our brain used to be pretty lighter a few hundred thousand years ago. What does that tell us?
A miniature version of brain can be devised.
But this synthetic brain is no less insignificant for extraterrestrials especially if it can be linked to their brain or body. Transferring information from a human brain to the body of an extraterrestrial may be a daunting task if the body architecture of an alien species is not understood but using a sign language as a mode of continuous transmission of information can come handy. Having said that, the aliens have to use some kind of communication mechanism, preferably a sound wave or brain wave of some sort. So the task of decoding those signals will be yet another challenge but not impossible.

How do we go about becoming immortal?
Is this impossible?
Are we going to have to play god?
Depends on how we want to look at it.
If we are able to do successful memory map or brain map we are good to go.
But there are other challenges.
What if we cannot replicate or clone ourselves using the simple mitosis theory of quick and fast cell division? It requires understanding the genes and genetic codes of DNA. In other words the trigger for starting the mitosis process should be controlled properly. If we cannot create a human cell in a laboratory with at least 100 genes then we can always come up with a synthetic (electronic) cell. In other words the genetic code for the human behavior has to be understood and implemented synthetically/electronically or otherwise. A very small prototype of human cell can do the trick. It also means that we should be able to remotely manage the DNA by implementing the RNA code at a remote location which could sit as far as in another galaxy. In other words we do not need to carry electronic gadgets for communication when we pay our next visit to Mars. For the sake of simplicity I am going to call the electronic or biological trigger that invokes or activates the mitosis phase as RAJMITTRIGGER(Raj Mitosis Trigger). The code can be embedded either by manipulating the DNA or embedding/adding an electronic DNA or group of DNAs. That means we can have a body of someone else but brain of someone else.
But there is yet another problem.
What if we are obsessed with our physical appearance or particular body?
There is a real problem.
We have to have a body scan or body print, not just retina scan or finger print stored in a computer that can trigger a regeneration of body sequence once your heart beat stops for a particular amount of time.

But there is another problem.
What if we want to be much more perfect?
In other words, the genetic characteristic that can lead to ill health or other psychological problems need to be fixed. But there is another problem. But most importantly, we have to fight a disease like cancer at the cell level. In other words if we know can change the genetic code of our existing DNA we will be able to understand the cancerous/alien cell that is trying to invade or breach the security of the cell can be modified to ensure that the affected cell starts behaving differently or is stopped from being fused. The mechanism put in place to stop the propagation of cells based on their genetic code can be selectively implemented and hence no more cancer. Even before the cancerous cell or alien cell fuses the genetic code of the alien cell can be changed so that it goes in self destruction.
Why do we want to limit ourselves to have the capability of a human who can't fly or cannot become an aquatic living organism or cannot get his amputated body parts regenerated?
If we are talking about synergy, we should be able to have the capability of mixing the genetic code of another living organism with ours. Mutants - may or may not mean much to us. But it does help understanding the fact that we can use some of the genetic characteristic of another animal that can help us get better. In other words we will be living in a world where we should be able to communicate with almost all the living organism.

But the million dollar question is where we go from here.
How better can we get?
We don't know?
There is always a room for improvement they say.
The question that will arise is that what the meaning of our life is.
Where did this universe come from?
We will start looking for the answers related to big bang theories that may or may not convince all of us. We may start to imagine a void in which universe had to be created.
We will become a god but not a god that most of us have learned to know or believed in. This question will remain unanswered until we actively look for it. But until we reach to a point where we consider ourselves advanced enough to be able to get to the scientific endeavor discussed above made a reality, it will not be possible for one of us to live long enough to go for truth hunting.
So let's take a baby step.
Once we reach to this point of advanced scientific accomplishment, we will have to revisit this question i.e., "quest for truth".
If you are a hard core scientist you don't have to get disappointed to see the words such as "god" which you may or may not believe in. We all know that science is a systematic body of knowledge. That means we have to be logical until things around us start to defy our logic. Once we reach there where our logic is not with us no more, we should start thinking on these lines.
Until then, we should strive to make ourselves better.
More details on these topics, later.

"Babu Culture in India" - The legacy of slavery, Infrastructure problems

Mr. Thakkar is taking a nap at his desk.
Good morning Sir.
Mr. Bhalla, good morning. How is your wife and son?
They are all fine sir. What wrong can happen to them till you are my boss sir.
Haaaaaaaa. Hooooooooooo. Mr. Bhalla , you are too much. Go get some cigarett for me.
Sure sir, but public is making noise outside sir. There is nobody to accept the complaints on the counter sir.
Mr. Bhalla, "public ko to kuch bolte rahne ki aadat hai(The general public has nothing better to do than making noise)". Kindly go get some cigarett. Oh bye the way, my wife has headech. Kindly bring some medicine for her in the evening.
Sure sir.
After 10 minutes............
Sir, here is your cigarett. Good job Mr. Bhalla.

Sir, I have to take my son to zoo today. Do you think I can leave early?
Bhalla, marwayega kya tu mere ko(Don't put me in trouble)? Dekhta nahin public bahar halla kar rahi hai(Can't you hear the public uproar outside)?
Hehehehe(laugh). Sir, aapke rahte kya problem hoga( What wrong can happen till you are the boss here sir)?
Thik hai Bhalla tu ja, main Mukherjee ko bol deta hun(Alright Mr. Bhalla, you can leave. I will see if Mr. Mukherjee can fill in for you).

Tringggggggggggggggggggg(Buzzer.....)
Yes sir, what can I do?
Mr. Mukherjee, could you please handle the crowd outside?
I am sorry sir, but my plate is full.
Mr. Mukherjee, you are disobeying me. You could be in trouble.
Sir, I can't help it. My plate is full.
Mr. Mukherjee, don't act smart just because you know Mr. Chakroborty(The senior to the boss-Mr. Thakkar).
Well, I am sorry sir, but I got to go. I have some pending work. Mr. Mukherjee walks out of the building to the nearest tea stall and starts gossiping.
With heavy feet, Mr. Thakkar walks to the counter.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we have internal strike today. The office is closed. Please come tomorrow.
Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu(uproar and hooting from the background).
Mr. Thakkar moves to the other counter.
The customers are not in queue. They are jumping over one another with applications and files in their hands. There is no administrative personnel to help them stand in a queue. They all seem to be in some kind of hurry. They are in some kind of huddle. They don't know who is ahead of who. They all have the urge to insert their hands inside a small hole through which the files can be passed on the babus(counter clerks). There are some other customers who are using backdoor entry. They know the officers and clerks very well to be able to beat the queue.
The security personnel who is paid a decent salary for maintaing a civilized contact point for customers and office personnels is smoking leisurely and carelessly at a distance. In other words it is a complete chaos.
Mr. Thakkar goes to the counter, repeats his memorized excuse and slams the counter door on the face of the customers.
He goes back to the chair and starts making a call to his friend.
Hey Verma, how are you man?
What's up, calling in office hours?
Oh I am tired. These customers cannot understand our work pressure man.
Bye the way did I tell you we are going on strike from coming Tuesday.
Why?
We need raise man raise.
Didn't you get the raise six months back.
Com'on Verma. Look at the price index. It is sky rocketing. We have to go on strike.
Blah Blah Blah........

Mrs. Briganza is walking in a grocery store. Bhaia do kilo palak, do killo kheera, aadha kilo pyaz aur dhai sau gram bhind tol dena( Kindly weigh two kg of Spinach, two kg of cucumber, half a kg of onion and quarter of a kg of lady fingers).
Yeh lo bahan ji(Here you go).
Receipt please.
No receipt Mam.
What? I need the receipt.
What will you do with the receipt?
That's not your problem. I need the receipt.
I am sorry but I can't make any receipt availabe for you. If you don't want the vegetables, give it back to me. You can go anywhere in the market, no one will offer you a receipt.
Gussa kyon hote ho bhai, lao sabzi do(Don't get angry, kindly give me the vegetable).
Mrs. Briganza walks out of the grocery shop.

Mrs. Aiyer enters a Post Office of a metro and walks to one of the counters.
I need to send a registered letter. I am in a kinna hurry. I need to get back to work. The stationery shop nearby is closed. I was hoping to get some envelops from the shop. I also need to send a small parcel. I wanted to buy a small packaging materrial as well. Do you think you can help?
Sorry Mam, but we don't have packaging supplies for you.
Bhai, agar hai to kindly help kar do, bahut urgent letter aur parcel bhejne ka hai(Kindly help, I really need to send the parcel and letter urgently).

Mrs. Aiyer walks out of the Post Office and waves her hands to a passing Taxi(cab).

These are the examples of everyday life in India for a common man. What changes can we propose? Here are some thoughts.

01.The general perception is that accountability in government offices are missing. Vigilence departments should have a mail box for public grievances outside every government office.
02. To help common people inculcate civic sense and self-enforce it a system should be devised in general which includes discipline at public places and offices etc.
03. Government should facilitate garbage disposable boxes and urinals/lavatories(rest rooms) at every 0.5 kilometers(20 year plan).
04. Littering law should be enforced harshly.
05. Indian law requires receipt to be provided by every salesman for purchases over Rs. 19. It should be enforced harshly.
06. Packaging materials and other things required for postal needs should be readily available in all post offices.
07. Designated parking spaces should be made available near every crowded place or shopping place in all small or big cities.
08. Roads in general should be wider. Atleast 20 X 20( 20 year plan). If there is no corruption in India we would not be worrying about getting funds for these ambitious infrastructure development plans.
09. Underground drainage system all over the country.
10. Underground electric and telephone system in the country. Privatization of electricity can solve the problem of electricity theft in most places.
